BASE 10 GmbH is a small, independent medium-sized company specializing in the system design of customized electrical hardware, software and mechanical components.

We develop, produce and repair on the basis of our own product platforms. With systems expertise in aerospace, defense, robotics, teleoperation and autonomous driving systems, we provide our customers with custom-fit solutions for their complex and individual challenges.

BASE 10 System Designers are experts in selecting the trade-off between COTS products and new custom electrical hardware, software and mechanical design, harmonizing between cost and realization possibilities.

Mechanical design

To solve demanding challenges, such as thermal influences, shock loads, vibrations or EMC influences, interdisciplinary innovation approaches are pursued.

BASE 10 has a small batch production to serve the customer end-to-end.

To ensure that our products withstand the safety-critical environmental conditions, our hardware and software designers use state-of-the-art solutions.

Qualification

BASE 10 qualifies developed products according to military standards or customer requirements. All the necessary documents are prepared in-house.

Maintenance and service

BASE 10 operates active life-cycle management of in-house production and third-party products. We analyze your systems and develop individual service packages for maintenance and repair.

Test and inspection systems for flying systems

On- Aircraft - The development of on-aircraft test systems requires special knowledge of the regulations governing the handling of the assembly under test and the subsequent handling of the test system by the user. Often, the device should also be lightweight, easy to transport and operable by one person. Off-Aircraft - Often, off-aircraft test systems are large, complex devices used on the flight line or in the shelter. Special equipment configurations are required to withstand the rigors of daily use in harsh environmental conditions.

To date, over 10,000 computer systems have been built at B10 and are still performing daily service in many NATO air forces.

It combines our experience in microprocessor-based computer systems with the operational use of navigation and sensor systems, as well as the Software development for safety-critical and military installations. In addition, the vehicle can use satellite communication, terrestrial communication and controlled over shorter distances via WLAN. The unmanned system is used for tactical support in the capability categories of mobility, reconnaissance and protection.

That is why we at BASE 10 focus on the communication channels, such as data link, satellite and terrestrial communication, as well as their organization. All teleoperated systems can also be operated and deactivated manually if required.
